Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. is proud to announce that we are officially Safe Work Certified.
This certification is a standard for evaluating one's safety and health management system against, and it builds in a process of annual verification. It's built on the foundations of leadership commitment, hazard identification, risk control, and worker participation.
To achieve certification, we participated in required training, worked with our S2SA Safety Advisor to assess/update/address the gaps in our health and safety management system, and passed a SAFE Work Certified audit.
We are always prioritizing workplace safety and health, and strived to achieve this certification for the many benefits that include a safer and healthier workplace, better control of workplace hazards, a reduction in workplace injuries and illnesses, improved employee engagement and productivity, and greater confidence in compliance with legislative requirements.
